NFL Rumors: Packers' Jordan Love Expected to Be Active vs. Vikings amid Knee Injury
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to be back on the field for Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The star quarterback missed the last two games after suffering a strained MCL in Green Bay's season-opener loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Though Love is expected to be active on Sunday, the Packers could continue to utilize Malik Willis, who started the last two games. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported Saturday that head coach Matt LeFleur could use a two-quarterback system, using Willis in certain packages to take some of the weight off Love, who might not be quite to 100 percent.

In Love's absence, Willis has kept Green Bay afloat, leading the Packers to wins over the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. He's picked up 324 passing yards and two touchdowns along with 114 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground in his two starts.
Willis, a late offseason acquisition from the Titans, has likely given Green Bay enough confidence to put him under center again should Love have any residing pain on Sunday.
Love is coming off a breakout season in 2023, throwing for 4,159 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while picking up 247 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground. His strong play last year led to a four-year, $220 million extension this offseason.
He had a good start to the year in Week 1, collecting 260 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns before going down late with the injury.
The Packers will have a tough matchup with their divisional rival on Sunday. The Vikings are off to a surprising 3-0 start behind quarterback Sam Darnold and are looking to stay undefeated.
Having Love back on the field for the pivotal game would be ideal, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Green Bay keep his workload somewhat light as he continues to work his way back to 100 percent.
