ESPN College Gameday 2024: Week 4 Location Hosts, TV Schedule and Predictions
There have been four previous meetings between the Tennessee and Oklahoma football programs. The two most recent came as a home-and-home series over the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
The Vols and Sooners will go head-to-head for the fifth time on Saturday, but this time will mean a bit more.
The two teams are now SEC rivals, so the matchup in Norman will represent a conference game. It's a highly anticipated contest, which is why ESPN's College GameDay will air live from the Sooners' campus on Saturday morning (9 a.m.-noon ET).

Tennessee-Oklahoma preview
In the sporadic meetings between these two programs, Oklahoma has typically prevailed. The Sooners have won their past three matchups against the Vols, with those victories coming in 1968, 2014 and 2015.
The only time Tennessee has beat Oklahoma came in 1939.
Anything could happen Saturday, though, when the No. 6-ranked Vols enter hostile territory to take on the No. 15 Sooners. Both teams are off to 3-0 starts, but neither has faced a challenge like this so far.
Oklahoma has played each of its first three games in front of its home fans, defeating Temple, Houston and Tulane.
Meanwhile, Tennessee has been dominant in taking down Chattanooga, NC State and Kent State. The Vols have outscored their opponents 191-13.
It would be quite a statement for Oklahoma (playing the first SEC game in school history) to take down Tennessee in its conference debut.
"It's huge," Sooners coach Brent Venables told reporters. "I mean, this is a historical moment for this university and certainly the football program and all the athletic programs here at the university. So to be a part of that is really special."
The Tennessee defense hasn't allowed a touchdown this season. So it will be a tough task for Oklahoma's offense, led by sophomore quarterback Jackson Arnold (484 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions).
However, the Sooners will be the best team the Vols have faced so far. Because of that, expect a competitive game between these new conference rivals.
It may go either way, but the prediction here is Oklahoma pulls out a win to make a strong first impression in its SEC debut. But don't be surprised if it comes down to the wire.
