Bryce James' Latest NIL Valuation Amid CBB Recruiting; LeBron's Son is in 2025 Class
As Bryce James enters his senior season at Sierra Canyon High School, he already has the potential to add a large chunk of cash to his bank account.
James, the second son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has an NIL valuation of $1.3 million, per On3.com. That figure ranks James 17th on the website's NIL valuation list, making him the highest-ranked high school player in terms of NIL value.
In 247Sports' composite, James is ranked as a 3-star prospect and the No. 27 shooting guard in the nation. 247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein wrote that James "may not be the dynamic athlete or playmaker some expect at first, but he is a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter size and a good early skill-set."
The 17-year-old has received offers from Ohio State and Duquense, though he will likely use his senior season to garner interest from other schools before he makes a commitment.
James will be looking to follow in the footsteps of his elder brother, Bronny, who was a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA draft after spending one season at USC and will be playing alongside their legendary dad with the Lakers this year.
