Davante Adams on DeSean Jackson Remarks: 'Bulls--t' to Say I'm Unhappy with Raiders
Davante Adams is not unhappy with the Las Vegas Raiders, at least according to the man himself.
"Whatever you see, if it ain't from the horse's mouth, it's probably bulls--t," he told reporters Wednesday. "... Whatever has been put out there lately has been complete BS. … In terms of me being upset or not being happy in this organization, it's just a bunch of BS that's meant to throw everybody off. … If I was pissed off, I wouldn't be here."

Adams also took issue with former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
"I've probably spoken with DeSean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him ever," he said. "I put that on my kids. I've never spoken to him about anything. The only person I really talk to about my feelings in general is my wife, and she ain't out there leaking anything."
The comments come after Jackson appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd (h/t Michael Canelo of Sports Illustrated) and said Adams wasn't happy in Las Vegas.
"This one is tough because me and Davante, we have talked and I hate to do it because I do not want to be the guy that is like, 'Oh, D-Jax said this and said that,' but at the end of the day, he isn't happy," Jackson said. "I mean, you go from Aaron Rodgers, then you come to the Las Vegas Raiders and not only Jimmy G [Garoppolo], you had your boy [Derek] Carr. It didn't really work out that you thought, you know, from the Fresno State days. ... It just quite did not work out. So, now I just do not think he is really that happy there."
Rumors surrounding Adams and the Raiders are nothing new, but he was emphatic he is happy with the AFC West team.
He is signed in Las Vegas through the 2026 campaign and led the league with 14 touchdown catches in his first season with the team in 2022. Even though he had something of a dropoff last year, he was still among the league's best with 103 catches for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns.
It is easy for fans or commentators to speculate when it comes to Adams, as he is someone who started out his career with future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball with the Green Bay Packers.
This year's Raiders are starting Gardner Minshew II after he won a quarterback competition against Aidan O'Connell, which is not exactly Rodgers.
Still, Adams insisted he is not unhappy and is ready to start the season on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
