Report: Travis, Jason Kelce Land $100M+ for 'New Heights' Podcast to Move to Wondery
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, have reportedly landed a nine-figure deal with Amazon's Wondery podcast network in exchange for distribution rights to their popular New Heights podcast.
According to Variety's Todd Spangler, the Kelce brothers and Wondery reached a three-year agreement worth more than $100 million, and it will see the company take control of global distribution for all future and past episodes of New Heights in addition to securing "exclusive rights to monetize and distribute audio and video podcast episodes."
Travis and Jason confirmed the new partnership with Wondery in a statement, saying:

"We couldn't be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights. We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to New Heights! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3—see you soon, 92%ers!"
Wondery CEO Jen Sargent also gave her take on the addition of New Heights to the platform's library, saying: "New Heights on the surface is a sports podcast, and sports is such a well-listened-to category. But it's become a cultural phenomenon—they're in that cultural zeitgeist."
The deal between the Kelces and Wondery officially begins with Wednesday's episode of New Heights in conjunction with the start of the 2024 NFL season next week.
While Wondery now owns New Heights' distribution rights, the podcast will continue to be available for consumption on other podcast platforms and in video form on YouTube, per Spangler.
Travis and Jason launched New Heights prior to the start of the 2022 NFL season, and it quickly became a phenomenon.
In addition to offering an inside look into life as an NFL player, the brothers tell plenty of stories about their upbringing and have shown the ability to make almost any topic of discussion entertaining due to their energy and sense of humor.
The podcast undoubtedly received a huge bump last year in the wake of news that Travis was dating global music sensation Taylor Swift, which got a whole new demographic interested in the show.
As a result, New Heights won the 2024 Podcast of the Year Award at the iHeartPodcast Awards.
New Heights will have a slightly different feel this football season than in years past due to the fact that Jason retired following the 2023 campaign, ending a 13-year, Hall of Fame-caliber career that included seven Pro Bowl selections, six first-team All-Pro nods and one Super Bowl win.
While Jason's analysis of the NFL will now come from an outside perspective, Travis will have a chance to make history on the field.
The Chiefs have a chance to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls, and the nine-time Pro Bowl, four-time first-team All-Pro, future Hall of Fame tight end will have a huge hand in whether it comes to fruition.
