Deion Sanders Says Rumored Colorado Uniform Photos Aren't Real Ahead of 2024 Season
Deion Sanders shut down rumors of new uniform concepts for Colorado heading into the 2024 season on Saturday.
The Buffaloes head coach responded to a post with uniform designs for Colorado, claiming that the leaked jerseys aren't real.
"It ain't," Sanders said in response to a fan saying they didn't know if the uniforms were real.
While the concept jerseys released by the fan would be a good look for the Buffaloes, Sanders doesn't want fans to get false hope about what Colorado will be wearing when it takes the field this year.
With a team with as much hype surrounding it as Colorado, it's understandable that fans would speculate about jerseys heading into the season.
But for Sanders and the Buffaloes, what jerseys they will wear is likely an afterthought at this point as they hope to bounce back from a dreadful season in 2023.
Colorado started the year strong, going 3-0 and picking up a signature win over TCU to start the season, but from there, things went downhill. The Buffaloes finished the year going 1-8, with their only win during that stretch coming against Arizona State.
Colorado added some talent through the transfer portal and has a solid recruiting class, and it will lean on the new additions to help it improve in the second year of the Sanders era.
The Buffs begin their season on Aug. 29 against a strong FCS opponent in North Dakota State.
