Lamar Jackson Wants Ravens Teammates to Work out in Florida After QB Missed OTAs
Lamar Jackson is hoping that he and his wideouts and tight ends can meet for some extra workouts ahead of training camp in late July.
"I would love to do that, but some guys don't want to leave their state," he told reporters Wednesday. "They're going to have to come to South Florida. They're going to have to do it. We have to. We're trying to get to the Super Bowl, and for us to do that, we have to grind. We have to build chemistry."
Those comments come amidst reports that the defending MVP lost out on a $750,000 workout bonus this offseason for failing to report for 80 percent of Baltimore's offseason program, missing the first four voluntary organized team activities. He was in attendance for the final week of OTAs and the first two days of mandatory minicamp, however.

Whether he and his receivers are able to get in extra work before training camp or not, Jackson likes the look of the team's offense thus far.
"I believe our offense is taking steps in the right direction right now," he said. "We don't really know who the guys are going to be right now. We're not in camp. We're not close to the first game or anything like that. But right now, I feel like we're taking steps in the right direction. Guys are moving good, running great routes, catching the ball, blocking good. We look pretty smooth."
