Video: Chennedy Carter Has No 'Regrets' on Caitlin Clark Foul; 'All Love' After Game
Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter said she doesn't "have any regrets" about her flagrant foul on Caitlin Clark during Saturday's 71-70 loss to the Indiana Fever.
"I think at the end of the day, I'm a competitor," Carter said Monday (h/t FOX 32 Chicago.) "Now that it's another day, I've had an off day, now I can answer your questions and let you know how I really feel about things.
"I'm a competitor, and I'm gonna compete no matter who you are, and no matter who's in front of me. So, that's just what it was. Heat of the moment play, we're getting at it, we're going back and forth, it's basketball, it's all hoops. After we finish the game, it's all love."

Carter concluded: "I don't have any regrets with anything. I'm gonna compete, and play 100 percent hard no matter who it is, like I said, or who we're playing. No, I don't have any regrets."
The incident occurred in the final seconds of the third quarter, when Carter checked Clark from behind, sending the Fever rookie sprawling to the ground.
The in-game call was a common foul, but Carter was retroactively assessed a flagrant 1 foul on the play.
Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon spoke more negatively about the incident when she discussed Carter getting "caught up in the heat of the moment" in a Monday statement reported by ESPN's Michael Voepel.
"She and I have discussed what happened and that it was not appropriate, nor is it what we do or who we are," Weatherspoon said. "Chennedy understands that there are better ways to handle situations on the court, and she will learn from this, as we all will."
Carter declined to answer questions about the incident immediately after the game, but commented both on Clark's game and teammate Angel Reese's reaction to the foul later that night on Threads:
Carter was asked Monday if she considered those posts "part of the competition."
"I think that this is just hoops," Carter answered. "I think that at the end of the day, it's all about basketball, and it's all love, you know what I'm saying? That's it.
"I think that, again, it's all hoops. As you see, everybody went on social media and let us know their opinions, so it's just all hoops. It's all fun. I don't really take it serious. It's just jokes."
The incident overshadowed the Fever's victory over the Sky, which marked Indiana's first home victory and dropped Chicago's record to 3-4.
Carter, Reese and Clark are slated to meet again when the Sky return to Indianapolis' Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a rematch on Sunday, June 16.
