Bleacher Report Draft Expert Jonathan Wasserman's Scouting Report
Player: Isaiah Collier
Position: PG
Height: 6'5"
Pro Comparison: Tyreke Evans
Scouting Report: Collier can bring relentless rim pressure with his ball-handling, shiftiness and strength for plowing through contact and finishing through it. His decision-making can be shaky, but he's a threatening setup man off his elusiveness, gravity and passing skill. His trajectory will ultimately be tied to his shooting development, as he's looked capable from outside, but not reliable or comfortable from three.

Collier successfully transitioned into a starting role in one college season. Now he's looking to make a similar jump in the NBA.
A five-star prospect out of high school and co-MVP of the 2023 McDonald's All-American game, Collier was a day one starter at USC.
He averaged 16.3 points, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals for the Trojans in 27 appearances as one of USC's leading scorers.
Collier was sidelined for almost a month between January and February due to a hand injury, but returned and found a connection with Bronny James to help USC make a push to the Pac-12 quarterfinals.
He finished the season having shot 49 percent from the field.
Collier's shooting was strongest in close, as he converted 54 percent of his shots from the two-point range while making 33.8 percent from deep.
His strength made him especially successful in transition for the Trojans.
The next step in Collier's development will likely involve him working on his free throws. He shot 67.3 percent from the foul line during his freshman campaign with the Trojans.
Collier will also likely target his defense after making six total blocks for USC.
The athleticism Collier demonstrated during his first college season can now help him develop his skills in the NBA.
