Randy Moss Questions Austin Rivers' Remarks About NFL, NBA Players Changing Sports
Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss became the latest football player to speak out on Austin Rivers' controversial claim that several NBA players could easily translate to the NFL.
Moss clearly disagreed with Rivers' comments, which came during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show earlier this week.

J.J. Watt was also among the players who ripped Rivers:
Rivers played 11 NBA seasons but was not signed for the 2023-24 campaign. He never played football at any high level, so the odds of him taking on Watt's challenge are minimal.
As far as the veracity of Rivers' comments, it's hard to see where he came up with the 30-player number. It's possible a handful of NBA players could make the transition to football, but that would require significant training.
No NBA player could be plucked off the court right now and immediately compete at the NFL level. The same goes for NFL players playing in the NBA. These are wildly skilled players at the pinnacle of both of their sports. Even among professional athletes, there's a reason Rivers' comments have largely been scoffed at.
