Report: Eagles Icon Jason Kelce to Join ESPN's MNF Pregame Show After NFL Retirement
Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is signing with ESPN and will feature on the network's Monday Night Countdown, according to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand.
Marchand reported NBC, CBS and Amazon all made a run at the seven-time Pro Bowler, who retired from the NFL following the 2023 season.
A television career probably beckoned from the moment the 36-year-old delivered his legendary speech during the Eagles' Super Bowl championship parade.

Jason subsequently became a media star toward the twilight of his playing career thanks to his New Heights podcast with younger brother Travis. Through the show, he has been able to further showcase his charisma and authenticity.
Once Kelce officially hung up his cleats, a pivot to broadcasting was inevitable and the only question was whether he'd take the plunge right away or enjoy his retirement for a little while longer.
Marchand reported in March the likely Hall of Famer factored into a wider retooling of Monday Night Countdown, the pregame show that accompanies Monday Night Football on ESPN.
The network rolled out a new crew for the 2023 season with longtime personality Scott Van Pelt in the host chair. Per Marchand, Van Pelt is expected to stay in that role but the statuses of analyst Robert Griffin III and part-time contributor Larry Fitzgerald are up in the air.
Now that he has settled on a suitor, Marchand speculated Kelce could be included in Disney's upfronts in May.
