Video: Cowboys' Micah Parsons 'Disgusted' Eagles Got Quinyon Mitchell in NFL Draft
The Philadelphia Eagles appeared to get one of the steals of the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night, selecting Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell at No. 22.
And Dallas Cowboys superstar edge-rusher Micah Parsons couldn't believe it:

"I'm honestly utterly disgusted on how lucky the Eagles are," Parsons said after the selection. "I do not know how he fell that far with this run of offensive tackles and quarterbacks. That's the only thing that makes sense. I thought he was a top-15, top-12 talent, and he just fell right into their laps. ... He was definitely one of my more favorite players in this draft. ... He checked every box."
It was a familiar reaction for Parsons on draft night regarding the NFC East-rival Eagles—last year, he was beside himself when Jalen Carter fell to them in the first round:
"I'm just so sick to my stomach right now," Parsons said a year ago after the Carter pick. "... I'm just sick. I'm just sick to my stomach. I'm just sick to my stomach. I can't believe that many teams passed up on him. ... I'm truly just sick right now."
Carter, 23, went on to register 33 tackles (eight for loss), six sacks, nine quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown in 16 games during his rookie season.
He finished as the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year behind Houston Texans edge-rusher Will Anderson Jr. and was rated as the No. 68 overall player in football last season by Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson, who called him the "best interior pass-rusher in the NFL" over the first half of the season.
The Eagles will be hoping Mitchell has that level of impact as a rookie, where he'll be expected to fight for a starting berth with James Bradberry opposite top option Darius Slay.
Pundits on social media certainly believed the Eagles nailed the pick:
Eagles fans will be thrilled with the selection. Parsons and the Cowboys, well... not so much.
