Patriots Rumors: Jonathan Kraft 'Heavily Involved' in 2024 NFL Draft Decision-Making
New England Patriots president Jonathan Kraft "is heavily involved in the decision making" as the Patriots listen to trade offers regarding the No. 3 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Kraft is the oldest son of Patriots team owner Robert Kraft. He has served as the team's president since 2005.
Director of scouting Eliot Wolf is still "running point" regarding the Patriots' draft decisions, Russini noted.

Wolf said earlier this week that the Patriots are "open to anything" regarding the first-round pick, NFL.com's Kevin Patra reported.
Initial reports indicated that Robert Kraft handed control of the Patriots' roster to Wolf ahead of the draft, according to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald.
Robert Kraft recently expressed confidence in Wolf by complimenting his "training" and "pedigree," according to an April 10 report from ESPN's Mike Reiss.
"We're starting new chapters in our development as we evolve here," Robert Kraft said, per Reiss. "I like the young people we have doing this and I've encouraged them to be collaborative."
That collaboration apparently includes input from Jonathan Kraft.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants have expressed interest in trading for the Patriots' pick.
Kraft is reportedly weighing in on whether the Vikings and Giants are offering a package appealing enough for the Patriots to give away the highest selection the franchise has owned since selecting quarterback Drew Bledsoe in 1993.
Wolf and Kraft's decision could potentially come down to what the Washington Commanders end up doing with the No. 2 pick on April 25.
With the Chicago Bears expected to draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams, the Commanders will likely be choosing between LSU's Jayden Daniels and UNC's Drake Maye.
If Washington selects Maye and allows Daniels to fall to No. 3, the value of the pick is likely to rise, Schefter reported.
In that case Wolf and Kraft would have to weigh drafting Daniels themselves against potentially more lucrative trade offers.
Whatever their draft decision, the Patriots are hoping to emerge from this offseason with a new franchise quarterback. Kraft may be stepping in to ensure that happens one way or another.
