Titans' L'Jarius Sneed Denies Injury Rumors: 'Ain't Nothing Wrong with My Knees'

Tennessee Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed said in his introductory press conference to reporters that he doesn't have any current knee issues amid multiple reports expressing concerns.

"Ain't nothing wrong with my knee," Sneed said, per Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper.

"I'm fine. I played the whole season. Years before that I played as well. I had a couple problems before, but I'm good right now. Nothing is really wrong with the knee. ...I know what to do with my knee. I'm coming out here to play ball."

The Kansas City Chiefs traded Sneed and a 2024 seventh-round pick (No. 252) to the Titans for a 2025 third-round pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick (No. 221). Sneed then signed a four-year, $76 million contract with his new team.

On March 7, Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda reported that Sneed "has been dealing with a knee injury that prevented him from practicing for long stretches last season."

Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride reported March 29 that the Minnesota Vikings were in the mix for Sneed but backed off due to "long-term health concerns."

Sneed, who has played all four years in Kansas City, hasn't missed extensive playing time since hitting injured reserve with a broken collarbone in 2020. Since that season, Sneed has only missed three games.

He's been a full-time starter the past three years, winning two Super Bowls along the way. This past year, Sneed amassed 78 tackles, 14 pass breakups and two interceptions.

Obviously, Sneed doesn't have any knee concerns, and neither do the Titans, who added him as part of a massive offseason spending spree geared to help the team rebound from a 6-11 season and last-place finish in the AFC South. Of note, Tennessee also brought in wide receiver Calvin Ridley and running back Tony Pollard.
