MHJ to Chargers, Malik Nabers to Patriots in Lance Zierlein's 2024 NFL Mock Draft
While the quarterback position will always generate headlines when it comes to the NFL draft and surely will again this year when the top four players off the board could play the position, wide receiver is also taking center stage.
NFL Media's Lance Zierlein released his latest mock draft on Tuesday, and there are three wide receivers in the top 10.
Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. is first off the board at No. 5 overall to the Los Angeles Chargers, while the New England Patriots grab LSU's Malik Nabers at No. 6 overall following a trade with the New York Giants. That's not all, as the Chicago Bears take Washington's Rome Odunze at No. 9.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The Patriots actually have the No. 3 pick, but Zierlein projected them to trade it to the New York Giants so the NFC East team could select North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye.
The first four picks are all quarterbacks with Chicago taking USC's Caleb Williams at No. 1, the Washington Commanders going with LSU's Jayden Daniels at No. 2 and the Minnesota Vikings trading up to No. 4 and selecting Michigan's J.J. McCarthy to replace the departed Kirk Cousins.
While Odunze going to the Bears so Williams has another weapon makes sense, the battle between Harrison and Nabers to be the top receiver in the draft appears to be heating up.
Harrison was an unquestioned star at Ohio State and the son of Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr. He has long been seen as a no-doubt draft pick, and that didn't change even after he didn't participate in testing at the NFL Scouting Combine or Ohio State's pro day.
Nabers is a speedster, and Zierlein even said he is "the wideout with the highest ceiling in the draft."
Even that might not be enough to overtake Harrison.
B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranked the former Buckeye as the best overall player in the draft in its latest big board, and the Chargers jumped at the opportunity to take him to replace Keenan Allen in Zierlein's latest mock.
