WWE WrestleMania 40: Bad Bunny, Jason Kelce and More Surprise Appearances
WWE WrestleMania may be the company's self-proclaimed "Showcase of the Immortals," but it is also site of some of the most unforgettable celebrity appearances in pro wrestling history.
From Cyndi Lauper and Mr. T laying the foundation for what the event would become, to Lawrence Taylor competing against Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania 11 and Mike Tyson helping to revive the WWE product in 1998, the event is as known for its celebrity involvement as the actual in-ring competition.
As the company prepares to celebrate 40 years of The Granddaddy of Them All, these are a few mainstream stars who could make their presence felt on the grand stage.
Bad Bunny
1 of 5
Bad Bunny has a long history with WWE dating back to WrestleMania 37 in Tampa, where he teamed with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison in tag team action.
A surprise appearance in the 2022 Royal Rumble followed before the world's most downloaded musician returned last year to battle former friend Priest at Backlash as part of the company's wildly successful return to Puerto Rico.
He has not appeared for the company since then but has a way of popping up at big shows, sometimes unexpected and unannounced.
Given his star power, one would assume Triple H and other key company officials would want to maximize his ability to attract viewers by promoting him. Still, a cameo that does big numbers across social media would be just as beneficial.
Lil Uzi Vert

Lil Uzi Vert made his first WrestleMania appearance a year ago, playing The Usos out for their main event, tag team title defense against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
The rapper's Pink Tape album includes a song titled "Nakamura," which heavily samples the former intercontinental champion's theme song, an undeniable ode to the form of entertainment.
With WWE in his hometown of Philadelphia, and his fandom of professional wrestling well known, do not be surprised to see the platinum-selling artist make his presence felt in some form or fashion on April 6 or 7.
Perhaps he even reunites with Jimmy or Jey Uso for a special entrance ahead of their sibling battle.
George Kittle

No professional athlete is more unabashed in his pro wrestling fandom than San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
The All-Pro even took a moment at media day before February's Super Bowl to discuss the, at the time, ongoing controversy surrounding Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and Roman Reigns.
He routinely wears vintage wrestling shirts to his post-game press conferences and a year ago, even cameoed at Wrestlemania 39, laying The Miz out and helping Pat McAfee score a victory over the Hollywood A-Lister.
Before that, he attended WrestleMania 38 as a spectator.
The tight end's trademark celebration after a big play is even AEW star Penta's "Zero Miedo" hand gesture.
Simply put, Kittle loves pro wrestling and if he has the opportunity to appear in Philadelphia, either as part of the show or in the crowd, he will.
KSI
4 of 5
Social media influencer, professional boxer, and United States champion Logan Paul's best friend KSI is no stranger to WrestleMania.
A year ago, he appeared in a giant Prime Hydration Drink mascot outfit before taking an errant splash through the announce table by his buddy en route to Paul's loss to Seth "Freakin" Rollins.
Two weeks ago on SmackDown, he popped back up during Paul's announcement that Prime will be the center ring sponsor for all WWE premium live events moving forward, starting with this year's Showcase of the Immortals.
Of course, he ate a big RKO from Randy Orton moments late before being sprawled out on the logo of his co-owned beverage company, but he was there nonetheless.
KSI should be expected to appear at WrestleMania, likely interfering in Paul's title defense against Orton and Kevin Owens. A big bump should not be out of the question as he does not hesitate to get physical.
Jason Kelce
5 of 5
The biggest potential surprise appearance at WrestleMania would be courtesy of the recently retired, future Hall of Fame center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce.
A big man with an even larger personality, Kelce would fit right into WWE.
Whether he actually appears at Lincoln Financial Field, home to his greatest triumphs as the best in the NFL at his position, remains to be seen but there have been hints that something could come together.
First, there was the January 11 tweet from the official NXT account in which his mother, Donna, was photographed alongside Shawn Michaels.
Then, reigning world heavyweight champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins extended an invitation to Jason, his brother Travis, and "all the Swifties" for the big event during an interview with Sports Illustrated.
While there has been nothing official yet, or any indication that Kelce will take Rollins up on the invite, there would be no better time for the legendary offensive lineman to make an appearance at a WWE even than in the city in which he built his legacy on the gridiron.
