Eagles Rumors: Jake Elliott Signs 4-Year, $24M Contract; Ties Justin Tucker's Record
The Philadelphia Eagles and kicker Jake Elliott reached a four-year, $24 million contract extension on Wednesday, tying him to the organization through the 2028 season.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the deal matches Justin Tucker's record-setting $6 million annual salary among kickers. Tucker signed his extension in 2022.
Elliott is coming off a stellar 2024 season that saw him make 30 of his 32 field goal attempts. He's missed no more than three field goals in any of the last three seasons, moving up to 14th on the all-time field goal percentage list (86.2 percent).

The Eagles were likely encouraged by Elliott's improvement from longer distances over the last two seasons. He has gone 12-of-14 on field goals of 50 yards or longer in the last two seasons, including a 61-yarder in 2023.
"I like it when moments are bigger," Elliott said in January. "I don't necessarily think it changes anything mentally for me, but I do enjoy those moments. I think you kind of have to as a specialist in order to stay sane and competitive in this league. Definitely enjoy playoff football, enjoy the playoff atmosphere, enjoy the crowds."
Elliott ranks second on the Eagles' all-time field goals made list with 168. He has a long way to go to top David Akers' franchise record of 294 field goals, but this extension will give him every opportunity to make it happen.
