Suns' Bradley Beal's Hamstring Injury Not Believed Serious, HC Frank Vogel Says
Phoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel reiterated the hamstring injury sidelining star Bradley Beal isn't believed to be serious.
Ahead of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons, Vogel said there aren't any new updates as to Beal's status and echoed what he told reporters in the immediate aftermath of Tuesday's 130-125 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Assuming he isn't headed for an absence spanning multiple weeks, the timing of Beal's injury is at least fortuitous. Wednesday's game is the last time Phoenix plays before the All-Star break. The Suns won't be back in action after that until Feb. 22.
Even if Beal doesn't immediately return to the lineup by then, the number of games he misses will be lower than it otherwise would've been at a different point in the season.
The team might, however, be somewhat concerned that this year has reinforced the concerns over the three-time All-Star's durability.
Back trouble prevented Beal from making his Phoenix debut until Nov. 8, and the problem quickly flared up again to remove him from the floor for nearly a month. Then came an ankle sprain in December that took him out for five games.
According to NBA.com, the trio of Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have logged a total of 440 minutes together over 22 games. That's the Suns' ninth-most frequent three-man combo.
In general, it's too early to begin panicking despite the team sitting just one game above a play-in tournament place. But Vogel would probably like to see his three best players on the court more in order to strengthen their chemistry for the postseason.
