Per MLB.com's Brent Maguire, all nine teams will unveil their jerseys at some point between Opening Day and the All-Star break.
Each team works with Nike to create a uniform design that specifically expresses the personality and community of the home city.
The only teams that have yet to have a City Connect jersey are the New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics. Nike and MLB introduced them in 2021 with the goal of eventually having all 30 teams represented.
Yankees managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner said last summer on The Michael Kay Show he was "not having any serious conversations" about a City Connect uniform for his club.
Considering how strict the Yankees are about everything—players still aren't allowed to have bears and long hair for example—asking them to do something different with their uniforms would probably cause a sense of panic in the front office.
The lack of representation for the A's isn't surprising considering the franchise doesn't even know what city they will be playing in after next season with its lease at the Coliseum set to expire and the ongoing uncertainty around a move to Las Vegas.
Even though some of the jerseys could use a little more thought, the Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves are among the teams that got creative with their looks and made it work.
