Heat Rumors: Josh Richardson Out Several Weeks with Dislocated Shoulder Injury
Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson reportedly has "a dislocated right shoulder and is expected to be re-evaluated in a few weeks," according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
He suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Boston Celtics, leaving the game in the second quarter after a collision on the court.
Richardson told reporters after the game that his shoulder popped out of place before popping back in, calling the situation a "freak accident."

It was a tough day for the Heat, as Jimmy Butler was already out due to a leave of absence following the death of a family member and Terry Rozier had to leave the game with a knee injury in the third quarter.
As for Richardson, the 30-year-old has been a solid role player for the Heat this season, averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 43 total appearances (six starts) while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 34.7 percent from three.
He's provided stability off the bench for a 28-25 Heat team that has disappointed this season.
Losing both Richardson and Rozier in one afternoon takes a major bite out of Miami's depth. Rozier, 29, was giving Miami 12.6 points and 5.6 assists per game in his 10 total appearances since being acquired ahead of the trade deadline, though his 23.4 percent shooting from three left something to be desired.
After being a more prominent offensive option for the Charlotte Hornets this season, Rozier stepped back into more of a supporting role for the Heat behind Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.
"It's tough to see guys like that go down," Duncan Robinson told reporters after the game regarding the Richardson and Rozier injuries. "And then Jimmy dealing with what he's dealing with is unfortunate, to put it lightly."
