AFC Championship Game 2024: Updated Odds, Prop Bets for Chiefs vs. Ravens
The stakes will be enormous during Sunday's AFC Championship showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens—and not just for the teams involved.
Gamblers will have plenty on the line, too, as this is one of the final opportunities to make NFL bets until the league goes back into hibernation until the fall.
Traditional wagers like point spreads and point totals are always available, but there are nearly endless options for placing prop bets, too. After laying out the scheduling particulars and latest odds, we'll examine two prop bets that caught our eye.

First Touchdown Scorer
2 of 3
Lamar Jackson +600
Gus Edwards +750
Isiah Pacheco +800
Travis Kelce +850
Rashee Rice +900
Zay Flowers +950
Mark Andrews +1200
Justice Hill +1400
Isaiah Likely +1500
Odell Beckham Jr. +1800
This is only the top 10 of a lengthy list of possible scorers—Tylan Wallace brings up the rear at +11000—and it's always a fun way to get early exposure to the contest.
You know who the regular end-zone-finders are for each team, but you also know they aren't guaranteed to open the scoring. Nelson Agholor, for instance, isn't the first name that comes to mind when thinking of Ravens' touchdown sources, but he was the first player to find the end zone last week during their rout of the Houston Texans.
You can talk yourself into virtually any of the players listed here, but it's hard not to like the running backs.
The Ravens and Chiefs ranked first and second, respectively, in scoring defense this season. All points put up this contest well be earned, so it's easy to see a scenario in which the first touchdown drive is a grind to get down field punctuated by Gus Edwards or Isiah Pacheco plunging in from a few yards out.
Passing + Rushing Yards
3 of 3
Lamar Jackson over/under 281.5
Patrick Mahomes over/under 274.5
There might be myriad matchups holding our attention here, but let's be honest: This is all about the quarterbacks.
Jackson is closing in on the second MVP of his career. Mahomes, who collected his second MVP last season, is hoping to book his fourth Super Bowl trip in the last five seasons.
These are electric talents, more magicians than football players. Either one could set the stat sheet ablaze, and no one would bat an eye.
Overall, these have basically been coin-flip marks for each quarterback. Jackson cleared his yardage total in eight of 17 games this season. Mahomes has bettered his in 10 of 18 outings.
Factor in the caliber of defenses they're facing, though, and they could have a hard time nearing their normal output. The Chiefs allowed the second-fewest yards this season (289.8), and the Ravens were sixth-stingiest in the category (301.4). Despite the prodigious talents of these passers (and runners), this game could be a slog.
