Kirk Cousins made an appearance in a college classroom on Friday, and his visit earned a pair of student some extra credit.
Two students at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where Cousins is doing physical therapy as he recovers from a torn Achilles, thought they spotted the Minnesota Vikings quarterback on campus. Their teacher promised them extra credit if they could get Cousins into the classroom, and they delivered.
Cousins drove with them to campus and spoke to their entire class, earning the students extra credit.

Extra credit is always appreciated, but meeting the veteran quarterback was probably a reward in itself for the students.
Cousins is looking to make a speedy recovery as he prepares for his 13th campaign in the NFL. This season, Cousins threw for 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions in eight games before his injury.
The Vikings had a disappointing 7-10 season this year, but they're looking to bounce back next year. That starts with figuring out the quarterback situation, where they could have a big void to fill. Cousins' contract expired at the end of the season and now he will be a free agent, giving him the freedom to move on if he chooses to do so.
Whatever he chooses to do, he's made some fans at Hope College.
