Australian Open 2024 Men's Final: TV Schedule, Start Time and Live Stream
A new Australian Open men's singles champion will be crowned on Sunday.
No. 3 seed Daniil Medvedev faces off with No. 4 seed Jannik Sinner in the first men's final to not involve Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer since 2005.
Sinner took out Djokovic, the 10-time champion in Melbourne, in the semifinals, while Medvedev eliminated Alexander Zverev in five sets on Friday.
Medvedev enters Sunday's final as the more experienced Grand Slam final player. He is 1-4 in his five previous finals.
Sinner will be playing in his first Grand Slam final, but a strong case could be made for the Italian to win the event because of his form over the last two weeks.

Sinner comes into the men's singles final with zero Grand Slam final experience, but that may not matter given the way he played over his six matches in Melbourne.
The fourth-seeded Italian dropped a single set in six matches and that came in the third set against Djokovic on Friday.
Sinner cruised through the rest of the field, a run that includes three straight-set wins over seeded players.
Medvedev spent far more time on the Melbourne hard courts than Sinner.
The No. 3 seed's five-set win over Zverev was his third of the tournament. He also beat Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round and Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals in five sets.
Sinner's match against Djokovic was certainly tough, but he still should be in better physical shape than Medvedev because of his shorter matches.
Medvedev showcased in the last two rounds that he can rebound from anything his opponents throw at him. He was down two sets to Zverev and rallied to advance to the final.
Medvedev holds the mental edge of knowing what to expect from a Grand Slam final, but he has not been successful on the court in those matches.
He is 1-4 in his Grand Slam finals, all of which occurred on hard courts and were played against either Nadal or Djokovic.
Medvedev holds a 6-3 head-to-head advantage over Sinner, but the Italian won the last three matchups.
Sinner beat Medvedev in two hard-court finals last season and he defeated him in the semifinals of the ATP Tour Finals in 2023.
Sunday will mark the first time Medvedev and Sinner face off in a Grand Slam match.
