Lakers' Cam Reddish Out vs. DeMar DeRozan, Bulls with Ankle Injury
The Los Angeles Lakers announced that wing Cam Reddish will miss his team's home game against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday evening with a sprained right ankle.
In addition, Lakers stars LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) and Anthony Davis (bilateral Achilles tendinopathy) are listed as questionable.
The Bulls will be shorthanded as well with Zach LaVine out indefinitely with a sprained right ankle.
Reddish, 24, is in his fifth NBA season. He's averaging 6.7 points on 40.5 percent shooting, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 23.3 minutes per game. The ex-Duke star has played in 35 games, starting 26.
Reddish suffered the ankle injury during his team's 127-116 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday. He blocked a James Harden three-point attempt early in the fourth quarter but rolled his ankle after accidentally landing on the Clipper star's left foot. Austin Reaves replaced Reddish in the lineup.
Reddish had just returned from a three-game absence due to left knee soreness. He came back for the team's 134-110 win over the Portland Trail Blazers last Sunday and fared well with 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting, four rebounds and two steals.
Unfortunately, it appears as though Reddish could miss more time due to the sprained ankle.
