Raiders Rumors: Kliff Kingsbury to Interview for OC Job amid Eagles, Bears Links
The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly planning to interview former Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury for their offensive coordinator position.
Albert Breer of NFL Network reported Kingsbury, who already interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears, will meet with the Raiders this week.
Kingsbury spent the 2023 season as an offensive assistant at USC after being fired by the Cardinals.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The 44-year-old has not been a coordinator at any level since his one-year stint at Texas A&M in 2012. He spent six seasons as the head coach at Texas Tech before being hired by Arizona and spending four years with the Cardinals. Arizona went 28-37-1 under Kingsbury, making one playoff appearance.
The Raiders are looking to build an All-Star staff around coach Antonio Pierce, who was hired amid widespread support from the Las Vegas locker room. Pierce led the Raiders to a 5-4 record after taking over midseason from Josh McDaniels, who was fired after less than two seasons.
The Raiders looked inspired by Pierce's fiery leadership, but his experience is limited. The former NFL linebacker spent less than two years as a linebackers coach under McDaniels before being thrust into the top job. While he did spend time at Arizona State as a defensive coordinator and was the head coach at Long Beach Poly High School in California, it's understandable that the Raiders want experience around him.
Kingsbury is known as an offensive guru, but the results have not always matched his reputation during his tenure as a head coach. It's possible taking on a coordinator position will allow him to focus on where he specializes versus having the weight of an entire team on his shoulders.
As it stands, Kingsbury is a popular enough candidate he'll likely find himself back on NFL sidelines in 2024.
