Texans at Ravens
2 of 3
Fantasy star: Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
This Ravens' defense might be daunting, but C.J. Stroud is good enough to move the ball against them. The rookie signal-caller could be airing it out early and often to keep pace with Lamar Jackson and Baltimore's potent attack.
When Stroud lets his fly, he'll look Collins' direction more often than out. That's partly due to necessity, since two of the Texans' top pass-catchers were already lost to injured reserve (Tank Dell and Noah Brown).
More than anything, though, it's simply because Collins is a dynamic talent. He played 15 games this season and still posted top-10 marks in receiving yards (1,297, eighth) and touchdown catches (eight, tied for eighth). Including the playoffs, he's had eight outings with at least six receptions and 80-plus receiving yards, numbers he reached in his Week 1 matchup with this very same defense.
Fantasy sleeper: Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Baltimore Ravens
Beckham's debut season in Baltimore was mostly quiet, as he managed just 35 receptions and three touchdowns in 14 games.
Still, you can find some encouragement on his stat sheet.
His career-high 16.1 yards per reception highlighted his big-play ability in this offense and showed he doesn't necessarily need many touches to have a fantasy-relevant day. There was also a five-game stretch from Weeks 9 to 14 when he had either a touchdown or 90-plus receiving yards in four of the outings.
He also has a history of stepping up in major moments. During the Los Angeles Rams' run to Super Bowl LVI glory, he caught 21 of his 26 targets for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
Packers at 49ers
3 of 3
Fantasy star: Christian McCaffrey, RB, San Francisco 49ers
McCaffrey routinely posts numbers that look like they were ripped straight from the video-game realm.
He needed just 16 games to post 2,023 scrimmage yards. Among the 36 players with 150-plus carries, his 5.4 yards per attempt were the most. His 21 total touchdowns (14 rushing, seven receiving) tied for the league lead. His 391.3 PPR fantasy points were third-most overall, per FantasyPros.
He almost never disappoints, and he often amazes. He should also be fresher than he's been all season, since he sat out Week 18 and San Francisco had a first-round bye.
If all of that's not enough, he's also drawing a favorable matchup here. Green Bay gave up the fifth-most rushing yards per game and allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to running backs, per Yahoo.
Fantasy sleeper: Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
Admittedly, there's some boom-or-bust risk with Reed, as there is with any of the Packers' many receivers. Jordan Love can really spread it around, which makes it almost impossible to know who's number he'll call and when.
With the way this passing offense is rolling, though, you want to get a piece of it. Especially since San Francisco's secondary hasn't been airtight, as the 49ers allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to receivers.
Reed was totally lost in the shuffle last week, when he failed to come down with any of his three targets. Prior to that dud, though, he was dominant during the season's second half. Over his final eight games, he averaged 6.3 touches for 70 scrimmage yards. He scored seven touches in this stretch.
The Packers need to squeeze everything they can out of their playmakers to keep up with the 49ers. They should look to get the ball in Reed's hands, and he could have a big day if he sees enough opportunities.
