NFL Rumors: Bills' Joe Brady Requested for Falcons HC Interview amid Belichick Rumors
The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly requested permission to interview Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady for the team's opening at head coach.
Brady was promoted after former offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired following Buffalo's Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos and has performed admirably as a replacement.

He's the latest candidate to be interviewed by Atlanta's executives after the team reportedly met with legendary head coach Bill Belichick. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Falcons owner Arthur Blank met with Belichick individually and a second interview has already been scheduled.
Atlanta has also reportedly interviewed Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn on Friday regarding the role, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Brady helped turn around Buffalo's season after the team sat at 5-5 once Dorsey was let go. The Bills' offense uncharacteristically struggled throughout the middle of the year, averaging just 20.6 points from Week 6 through Week 10.
"I can point to the Miami game [in Week 4], which I felt very good about, obviously, we scored on just about, if not every, drive there," head coach Sean McDermott told the media after the firing, per ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg. "But since that Miami game, and really, before that, there were some times when I didn't feel like we were moving the ball well enough and scoring points."
Since Brady took over, Buffalo's offense has been humming. The team has averaged 27.5 points in the eight games after he was promoted, which includes a lopsided 31-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round.
Brady previously served as the team's quarterbacks coach and has previous experience as an offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. In 2019, he was also the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for LSU during the school's undefeated season.
With Belichick reportedly the "clear favorite" to land Atlanta's head coaching job, Brady may have an uphill climb to beat out the six-time Super Bowl champion (via ESPN's Dan Graziano). However, he will likely receive several more interview requests if the Bills continue to succeed in the playoffs.
