Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The wild card loss was embarrassing for the No. 2 seeded Cowboys, and the score was a lot closer than it should have been because the Packers began pulling some of their starters with a 27-7 lead entering halftime and a 41-16 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Despite finding regular season success, the Cowboys have been abysmal in the playoffs for more than two decades. Since Mike McCarthy took over as head coach in 2020, Dallas has reached the playoffs three times, losing in the wild card twice.
While the team hasn't been successful in the playoffs, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones already announced that McCarthy is returning as head coach in 2024, which is the last year of his contract.
