Yankees' Jasson Dominguez to Return from Elbow Injury in Summer, Brian Cashman Says
Jasson Dominguez, the New York Yankees' No. 2 prospect, is expected to return from an elbow injury "sometime in the summer," according to general manager Brian Cashman, via MLB.com's Brian Hoch.
The 20-year-old outfielder played in just eight MLB games after being called up last September before he tore his UCL. In 33 at-bats, Dominguez hit .258, notching four home runs and seven RBI, giving the Yankees much to look forward to.
"We're going to need him whenever he's ready," Cashman said.

Dominguez is the No. 16 overall prospect in baseball and the Yankees' No. 1 prospect on Bleacher Report's Top 100 MLB Prospects list.
Dominguez would presumably add to what is shaping up to be a potent offense. This offseason, New York traded for outfielder Juan Soto, who hit 35 home runs for the San Diego Padres last season. Having Soto in the mix with Aaron Judge and other big bats could help the Yankees offense improve after it ranked 24th in OPS.
The Yankees are looking to get back into the postseason after missing out last year following an 82-80 campaign. New York has had a solid offseason, adding Soto and outfielder Alex Verdugo as well as starting pitcher Marcus Stroman, who signed with the Yankees last week.
Now they're looking to get one of their top prospects on the field in Dominguez.
