Lamar Jackson Backed by Ravens HOF'er Ray Lewis: QB Has 'Different Look in His Eye'
Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis isn't concerned about Lamar Jackson's past postseason struggles as he prepares to lead the team into the playoffs this year.
Speaking to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Lewis said he's "putting all my chips" on Jackson this time around because he's got a "a different look in his eye" right now.
As the favorite to win the NFL MVP award for the second time in his career, Jackson has silenced any doubters who remained with his performance during the season to help the Ravens lock up the best record in the league and No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Jackson capped off his impressive regular season throwing for 573 yards and seven touchdowns with no turnovers in back-to-back wins over the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins.
All of that goodwill Jackson has earned will be forgotten if the Ravens have another early playoff exit. The last time they were the top seed in the AFC was Jackson's first MVP season in 2019.
That team looked close to unstoppable after going 14-2 with a league-leading 33.2 points per game. Jackson led the NFL with 36 touchdown passes and set a quarterback record with 1,206 rushing yards.
The Ravens lost to the Tennessee Titans, 28-12, in the AFC Divisional Round. Jackson had 508 total yards in the game (365 passing, 143 rushing), but his three turnovers led to 14 points for the Titans. Baltimore also went 0-for-4 on fourth downs in that game.
Jackson owns a 1-3 record in four playoff starts. He's thrown for 900 yards with three touchdowns, five interceptions, a 55.9 completion percentage and been sacked 19 times in those games.
Based on their resume from the regular season, the Ravens look like the best team in the NFL. They were one of three teams, along with the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, to rank in the top five in points scored and points allowed per game.
In eight games started by Jackson against teams that made the playoffs, the Ravens won six times with an average margin of victory of 15.1 points.
Jackson and the Ravens will begin their playoff journey against the Houston Texans at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
