Leonard Fournette's time with the Buffalo Bills appears to have come to an end.
Fournette has been released from Buffalo's practice squad ahead of the team's AFC Divisional round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
Fournette signed with the Bills' practice squad in October and wasn't elevated to the active roster until a Week 16 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He was also active for a Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins.

The 28-year-old rushed for 40 yards on 12 carries in two games with the Bills.
Fournette began his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars as the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 draft. He spent three seasons with the franchise before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of the 2020 campaign.
In 79 games across six seasons with the Jags and Bucs, Fournette rushed for 4,478 yards and 34 touchdowns, in addition to catching 312 passes for 2,219 yards and seven scores.
Fournette developed the "Playoff Lenny" nickname during his tenure in Florida, having rushed for 604 yards and nine touchdowns in nine postseason games, in addition to catching 35 passes for 254 yards and one score.
With the Bills having moved on from "Playoff Lenny," James Cook, Ty Johnson and Latavius Murray will be the contributors out of the backfield moving forward.
Cook was solid in Buffalo's 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card round on Monday, rushing for 79 yards on 18 carries and catching four passes for five yards. Johnson rushed for 26 yards on eight carries.
The Bills will host the Chiefs on Sunday at Highmark Stadium in hopes of clinching a berth in the AFC Championship game for the first time since the 2020 campaign.
