Eagles' Julio Jones Out for Wild Card Game vs. Bucs Due to Concussion Protocol
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's wild-card matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The veteran wide receiver, who had six-straight 1,000+ receiving yard season from 2014 to 2019, has dealt with a multitude of injuries over the past few seasons. The Eagles added Jones in October, looking to add some depth after their own receivers were dealing with injuries, and he's recorded 74 yards and three touchdowns on 11 receptions this year.
At 34-years old, Jones is looking to have a late-career surge with the Eagles, but a possible injury won't help.
Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts has been looking to DeVonta Smith for most of Monday's game, finding him on five receptions for 107 yards. With Jones out, Smith will likely be on the end of several more Hurts' passes before the end of the game.
The Eagles are looking to avoid a loss to the Bucs, who finished the season winning five of their last six games. Philadelphia has had a very different ending to the season, losing five of its last six games.
The Eagles struggles have followed them into the postseason, and they're now threatening a wild-card exit.
