2023-24 NFL MVP: Updated Predictions and Odds Entering Divisional Round
As the NFL playoffs go on, some of the league's biggest stars will put on impressive performances. Quite a few did so during the Wild-Card Round, and that will likely be the case again during the Divisional Round this upcoming weekend.
However, none of that will impact the battle for the NFL MVP Award, which only factors in regular-season play. Voting for the award ended last week, and the winner will be revealed at NFL Honors on Feb. 8 in Las Vegas.
Who will be the next player to win the league's top individual award? Here's a look at the latest odds and predictions for the result.

Predictions
This isn't going to be suspenseful: Lamar Jackson will be named NFL MVP, winning the award for the second time after previously receiving the honor at the end of the 2019 season.
Jackson's remarkable quarterback play helped the Ravens go an NFL-best 13-4 this season, leading them to the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The 27-year-old could soon lead Baltimore on a deep playoff run, as the team is set to face the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round on Saturday.
This season, Jackson was the quarterback for the league's best team, and a lot of times, the player who fits that description is named NFL MVP. This is going to be the 11th straight year that a QB has won the award.
It's not always that simple to decide, but it should be with Jackson.
Over 16 games, Jackson threw for a career-high 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns while tossing only seven interceptions. He also ran for 821 yards and an additional five TDs.
Late in the regular season, Jackson used a statement performance to prove he had an MVP-caliber campaign. In Week 17, he threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while leading Baltimore to a 56-19 victory over Miami.
There are other players around the league who had impressive seasons for strong teams. But Jackson is the overwhelming MVP favorite because of how both he and the Ravens performed throughout the course of the year.
The voting shouldn't be close. If Jackson doesn't win in runaway fashion, then it will be quite a bit of a surprise.
Expect Jackson to be the overwhelming winner, as he'll add another NFL MVP Award to his growing list of accolades. And with how well he's played during his six-year career in the league, he could win more in the future.
