Packers' Jordan Love, Aaron Jones Hyped by NFL Fans in Playoff Upset Win Over Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys fans have seen plenty of seasons end with a Green Bay Packers quarterback torching them in the playoffs. This time around, it was Jordan Love holding the matches.
The fourth-year quarterback threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns as the Packers upset the Cowboys, 48-32.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Aaron Jones—who has been a Cowboy-killer himself in the postseason—added 115 yards and three scores on the ground, while Romeo Doubs had six catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in the upset win.
Dak Prescott received some MVP hype during the regular season but it was Love who was easily the best quarterback on the field, finishing 16-of-21 without any turnovers or sacks taken. He had a nearly perfect passer rating of 157.2.
Prescott, meanwhile, threw two interceptions—including a pick-six—and was sacked twice in a performance that will haunt him all offseason. He also threw for 403 yards and three touchdowns, but most of those stats came with the Cowboys trailing big—the outcome of this game never truly felt in doubt and the Packers led 27-0 at one point.
So Love, on the road in his first playoff start, established himself as a star-in-the-making. Fans and pundits alike were singing his praises on social media after the blowout victory, while Jones received his flowers as well:
After watching Sunday's performance, it's hard to believe there were serious question marks as to whether Love could ever be the face of a franchise or escape the shadow of his predecessor, future NFL Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.
And it sure seems like a long time ago that everyone was questioning the decision to take Love with a first-round pick rather than use that pick to get Rodgers more weapons.
Love has made everyone a believer. In his last nine games he's thrown for 21 touchdowns and just one interception, and the Packers are 7-2 in that stretch. The Packers may have been the last team to qualify for the NFC playoffs, but they suddenly look like a very tough matchup thanks to Love's play.
Up next for the Packers will be a trip to face the conference's top seed, the San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys, meanwhile, will have an offseason of soul-searching and potentially one of reckoning if Jerry Jones decides that Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff don't have what it takes to turn the Cowboys from regular-season darlings to actual contenders.
