Jim Harbaugh Celebrates Michigan's National Title with Fans at Rally amid NFL Rumors
Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh celebrated the Wolverines' national championship along with the rest of his team in Ann Arbor on Saturday.
Harbaugh and the Wolverines enjoyed a parade in town before heading to a pep rally at Crisler Center.
Harbaugh didn't address his future, whether it's with the Wolverines or in the NFL. Rather, he celebrated the 2023 champions, recognizing their greatness on and off the field.
Fans certainly showed the love to Harbaugh, even asking him to stay for another decade in town.
Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, however, told fans that he's working on bringing Harbaugh back on a new contract.
Harbaugh, who coached the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons before leaving for his alma mater, has been connected to the NFL more than ever in recent weeks. Of note, the Los Angeles Chargers are expected to meet with Harbaugh, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Time will tell if Harbaugh stays or goes. For now, he and the rest of the Wolverines are basking in the glow of a 15-0 season and the school's first national title in football since 1997.
