Ravens' Mark Andrews Designated to Return from Ankle Injury Ahead of NFL Playoffs
The Baltimore Ravens could get a major offensive weapon back for the postseason after Mark Andrews was designated to return from injured reserve on Friday.
Andrews last played on Nov. 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals and went down with an ankle injury that ended his regular season. Friday's news doesn't guarantee that he will be able to play in the postseason but it does open the door for his return.

He participated in the Ravens practice Friday after being lifted from the injured reserve.
The tight end had 45 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns before suffering the injury and is a major target for quarterback Lamar Jackson. Despite missing seven games, he is still third on the Ravens in receiving yards and leads the team in touchdowns.
Isaiah Likely has been productive in Andrews' absence, however, as he has 21 catches for 322 yards and five touchdowns in six games since the injury.
Baltimore will have a little extra time to evaluate Andrews' health as the team earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye.
