Bills vs. Dolphins Picks, Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy DraftKings for SNF
The NFL has found perhaps the perfect contest with which to close out the 2023 regular season. The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins have been two of the league's most exciting teams dating back to last season, and on Sunday night, they'll battle for the AFC East crown.
The Dolphins have already secured a wild-card berth, but Buffalo can steal away the division with a victory. If the Bills lose, though, they could potentially miss the postseason entirely.
Fans will have plenty of reasons to tune into this divisional showdown and potential playoff preview. Of course, they can make things even more interesting by adding a little daily fantasy sports (DFS) action to the mix.
Below, you'll find a few DFS tips and top picks for the Sunday Night Football finale.

General DFS Tips for SNF
1 of 3
The biggest piece of advice we can give DFS managers is to pay attention to the injury report. The Dolphins have been saddled with numerous injuries recently, which could heavily impact this game.
Miami has lost pass-rushers Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb for the season, which boosts the stock of players like Bills quarterback Josh Allen ($8.3K). Allen is already the preferable quarterback option over Tua Tagovailoa ($7.5K) because of the defenses involved.
Buffalo has surrendered the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
Miami has offensive injuries too, and both receiver Jaylen Waddle ($7.7K) and running back Raheem Mostert ($7.0K) missed Week 17. Both are questionable, and neither can be trusted in this matchup.
For the most part, Bills players are more enticing in this matchup, as is the Buffalo D/ST unit ($2.9K). The Dolphins will have home-field advantage, but it's not hard to envision players like Allen and running back James Cook ($7.1K) taking over the game.
Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid ($4.8K) is also a top play in this matchup. Kincaid had a couple of down games before returning to prominence in Week 17 (four catches, 87 yards).
Dolphins tight end Durham Smythe ($2.9K) had a three-catch, 54-yard outing in Week 17, but his position isn't regularly featured in Mike McDaniel's offense.
Trust Tyreek Hill, De'Von Achane
2 of 3
With Waddle and Mostert injured, the Dolphins' offense will likely run primarily through star receiver Tyreek Hill and rookie running back De'Von Achane.
Both are pricey options, as Hill is priced at $9,400 and Achane is priced at $6,900. Neither faces a truly enticing matchup either. The Bills have surrendered the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers and the 15th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
However, a high-volume workload should deliver positive results for both players. Against a tremendous Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 17, Hill still caught six passes for 76 yards. Achane tallied four receptions and produced 147 scrimmage yards.
Hill and Achane represent the most trustworthy Dolphins players in Sunday-only games, and Achane is worth consideration in weekend-long DFS contests. Because of Hill's price point, however, managers may want to consider fading the 2023 receiving leader for Week 18.
Hill caught just three receptions for 58 yards the last time he faced Buffalo.
Consider Khalil Shakir, Cedrick Wilson Jr. for Value
3 of 3
Bills receiver Stefon Diggs is the second-priciest receiver in this matchup behind Hill. At a price point of $8,200, he represents quite a bit of a risk. Diggs has seen a diminished role in the Bills offense in recent weeks, though his floor is still solid.
Diggs has caught at least four passes in six straight games.
Managers looking for a better value should consider Buffalo's No. 3 receiver, Khalil Shakir. While Shakir hasn't been particularly consistent in fantasy this season, he has seven receptions for 84 yards over his last two outings. He could have even stronger numbers against the Dolphins, assuming Miami focuses heavily on slowing Diggs.
At a price point of only $3,400, Shakir is worth considering as a bargain play.
The same is true for Dolphins receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. ($3.9K). With Waddle out of the lineup, Wilson caught two passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in Week 17.
While both Shakir and Wilson can be considered for Sunday-only matchups, though, neither has the floor needed to justify a start in weekend-long DFS contests.
