Playoff Predictions

AFC Prediction: Bills beat Dolphins to claim No. 2 seed
Buffalo will travel to Miami for the regular season's final Sunday night game, which is loaded with playoff implications.
The winner of this game will grab the AFC East crown and the No. 2 seed. The loser would plummet down the standings, dropping the Dolphins to the No. 6 spot or potentially pushing the Bills out of the playoffs entirely (if the Jaguars and Steelers both win and the Colts-Texans game doesn't end in a tie).
That's a ton of pressure—but Buffalo is built to handle it.
Josh Allen remains one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the league, James Cook has been...well, cooking since Joe Brady took over as the interim offensive coordinator and the defense is getting stingier. The Dolphins, meanwhile, have wobbled down the stretch, splitting their last four games, including a loss to the Titans.
NFC Prediction: The playoff picture doesn't change
Look, we'd love to tell you that our crystal ball is calling for maximum chaos in Week 18, but that just isn't the case.
All of the postseason paths for the teams currently in the playoff picture are both straightforward and imminently doable.
For the Cowboys to clinch the NFC East and the No. 2 seed, they just need to handle a Commanders club they thumped by 35 points on Thanksgiving. The NFC South crown and No. 4 seed belong to the Buccaneers if they simply beat the two-win Panthers. The Rams could secure the No. 6 seed by knocking off a 49ers team that has nothing to play for, having already locked up the No. 1 seed.
The Packers, then, could claim the No. 7 seed by knocking off the Bears at home. Chicago has already been eliminated from playoff contention and lost to Green Bay by 18 points in Week 1.
So, sorry, but if you're looking for Week 18 drama, you won't find it in this conference.
