Eagles' A.J. Brown: 'I'm Classified as a Monster' If I Voiced Frustration After Loss
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown's decision to not speak with the media after Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals was a calculated one on his part.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Brown explained he did it because he gets "classified as a monster" if he voiced his frustration after another difficult loss for the team.

Brown offered a short message in the locker room immediately after the Eagles' 35-31 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals.
"I'm not about to talk," he said. "There's nothing to say."
Late in the fourth quarter against the Cardinals, Sirianni called a wide receiver screen on 3rd-and-20. Brown caught the pass for a gain of five yards, but the Eagles had to settle for a field goal to take a 31-28 lead.
The star wideout was seen on the Fox television cameras shaking his head while walking off the field. He said on Wednesday there's no issue with Sirianni or the play-calling, but that players need to execute better.
Tensions have been running high in Philadelphia as the team limps to the finish line in the regular season. Head coach Nick Sirianni was seen yelling at multiple players on the sideline, including Haason Reddick and DeVonta Smith, during a Christmas Day win over the New York Giants.
Brown has been seen getting into heated discussions with teammates this season. He had to be separated on the sidelines from Jalen Hurts during a Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
The two-time Pro Bowler has also called out fans on social media for thinking they "know everything" about what the offense is doing.
All of this almost certainly stems from the Eagles' ongoing struggles as they head into the playoffs. They have lost four of their last five games and must now beat the Giants on Sunday plus have the Dallas Cowboys lose to the Washington Commanders to win the NFC East.
If the Eagles don't win the division, they will be the No. 5 seed and play the NFC South champion in the wild card round.
