Adrien Broner vs. Bill Hutchinson: Fight Odds, Live Stream, Predictions
Former world champion Adrien Broner makes his return to the ring on Friday after more than two years out, with his eyes set on Bill Hutchinson.
Broner has been relatively inactive since a loss to Manny Pacquiao in January 2019. He took two years off before fighting Jovanie Santiago in February 2021 and pulled out of a scheduled bout with Omar Figueroa Jr. due to mental health issues.
Now, the 33-year-old is looking to get back in the action and prove he's still capable of capturing a world title. If he's successful, it would be a fifth belt that would further cement his legacy.
However, Broner has to put on a good show against Hutchinson first.

There's a reason the odds are so heavily in Broner's favor. The four-weight-division champion has signed with Don King Promotions and is being given a tuneup bout with little risk to get back on track after his long layoff.
This is an important fight for Broner, but not because of the contest itself. It's an opportunity to reintroduce himself into the title picture at 147 pounds. At least, that's his goal.
"I can tell y'all right now, I ain't looking past nobody, I ain't looking past this man, but I will become world champion again under Don King, and there's bigger things to come," Broner told reporters.
Broner also recently called out welterweight champion Regis Prograis, telling Fight Hub TV that's who he has his eye on after taking care of business against Hutchinson.
There's reason to have doubts about Broner's bid to become a world champion again. At 33, he's no longer the youthful athlete who beat the likes of Paulie Malignaggi or Khabib Allakhverdiev.
That's going to make it a challenge for him to really come back after his long layoff and fight at a championship level again.
Prograis, for example, is huge step up in competition from Hutchinson who is a practicing lawyer and has fought just once since 2019, a unanimous-decision win over Rondale Hubbert who has a record of 15-25-3.

There's really not much to digest here. Even if Broner has lost a step, he's on a completely different level to Hutchinson.
If the underdog had some one-punch power, it might be a little different. That can always be an equalizer, but he's only had nine knockouts in 20 career wins.
Hutchinson, 34, has traditionally fought at 140 pounds and only came in at 145 pounds at Thursday's weigh-in. This should be a glorified sparring match for Broner as he looks to shake off some rust.
If Broner wants to prove he deserves another shot at the riches of a world title, he needs to look sharp here. If he's focused, he should earn a knockout.
Prediction: Broner via fifth-round KO
