NFL Playoff Predictions: Road Teams Poised to Win This Weekend
With Round 1 of the 2012 NFL playoffs just days from kickoff, it’s time to analyze the success of the road teams in this wild card portion of the playoffs.
We usually get a few road team wins because of teams sneaking in through division titles and accidentally hosting a playoff game. I’m looking at you, New York Giants and Denver Broncos.
The following teams will win on the road and prove that the better team usually wins, or at least that’s what they say.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals proved they can hang with a disabled Houston Texans team when they lost a heart-breaker 20-19 just a few weeks ago.
With third-string starting quarterback T.J. Yates going down with an injury, the Texans are down to Jake Delhomme and an ailing Yates. That’s exactly what the Bengals wanted to see.
Cincinnati will stack the box against the run at all times and let their cornerbacks test their luck against the arm of the mediocre quarterbacks. This could get ugly for a Houston team making their playoff debut.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are traveling to Denver, Colorado to play the Denver Broncos in what could be the most one-sided game of the weekend.
As good as the record looks for the Broncos with Tebow under center, they are not that talented and snuck into the playoffs via a weak AFC West division.
Denver hasn’t faced a test like the once they will against the Steelers, and whether Tebow Nation likes it or not, he is going to look terrible.
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, but they have to travel to New York to face the NFC East division winner Giants.
Good thing that title means nothing this season because the Falcons will destroy Big Blue and prove that they never deserved the playoff berth in the first place.
Expect Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ air attack to destroy the depleted Giants' secondary and come out the victor in spectacular fashion.
