Colts HC Rumors: Packers' Bisaccia, Eagles' Steichen to Interview for 2nd Time
The Indianapolis Colts reportedly will bring in Green Bay Packers special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia and Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen for second interviews this week as they seek a new head coach, per the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Colts have already brought in interim coach Jeff Saturday and a trio of defensive coordinators—the Denver Broncos' Ejiro Evero, Los Angeles Rams' Raheem Morris and New York Giants' Wink Martindale—for a second interview, according to that report.
Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is also expected to receive further consideration:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Colts fired Frank Reich midseason after a 3-5-1 start to the 2022 campaign. Reich had gone 40-33-1 overall in Indianapolis and led the team to a pair of playoff berths in his five seasons, and has since been hired as the Carolina Panthers head coach.
He was replaced by Saturday, a controversial and inexperienced interim hire—he had never coached at the NFL or college levels—who won his first game and promptly lost the next seven to finish the season.
For the Colts, this offseason will be defined by two major decisions: Who is hired as head coach, and how the quarterback position is addressed after Matt Ryan, Sam Ehrlinger and Nick Foles underwhelmed this past season.
Bisaccia, 62, has spent the past 20 seasons in the NFL as the special teams coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002-10), San Diego Chargers (2011-12), Dallas Cowboys (2013-17), Los Vegas Raiders (2018-21) and the Packers this past season. He also served as an assistant head coach at various points for those teams and was the Raiders interim head coach in 2021, going 7-5 in the role.
Steichen, 37, has spent the past two seasons as the Eagles offensive coordinator and held the same role for the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2020 campaign. His offenses have finished top-10 in yards twice and top-10 in points once, finishing third in each category this season for the Birds.
Between 2011-19 he held a number of roles on the Chargers' coaching staff, including the role of quarterback coach from 2016 to 2019.
