Video Shows Odell Beckham Jr. Being Escorted Off Plane by Police in November

Newly-released video footage shows Odell Beckham Jr. being escorted off a plane at Miami International Airport in November.

In the body-cam footage from police officers obtained by WPLG 10 ABC in Miami, the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is shown downplaying his actions after a flight attendant asks the officers rhetorically if they know how long it's taken Beckham to put on his seatbelt.

The officer later informs Beckham they will have to deplane everyone, to which he replies: "That's fine."

After one fellow passenger said something to Beckham, he responded by saying "That s--t don't mean nothing to me. You're gonna wait 40 minutes and I'll be on a private plane home with your fat ass," per WPLG.

When the incident originally occurred on Nov. 27, Miami Dade Police Officer Luis Sierra said in a statement members of the flight crew called police and firefighters out of fear that Beckham was "seriously ill" and his condition "would worsen" over the expected five-hour flight.

"As they tried to wake [Beckham] to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness," the statement said.

Beckham tweeted about the incident afterward:

Daniel Davillier, Beckham's attorney, also released a statement that disputed flight attendants' account of the situation.

"At no time was Mr. Beckham disruptive or combative," Davillier said. "He was willing to comply with the seatbelt requirement, but the flight attendant wanted to prove that he had the authority to have Mr. Beckham removed from the flight."

During an appearance on TNF In The Shop (h/t TMZ Sports) on Dec. 8, Beckham spoke publicly about the situation.

"They woke me up to tell me that they couldn't wake me up," he said. "... They said I was unconscious and unruly or whatever words that they used. And I'm like, 'If that's the case, why is there six police officers surrounding me and not six paramedics or EMTs?'"

No charges have been filed against Beckham. The 30-year-old has been a free agent since the end of the 2021 season. He tore his ACL in the second quarter of the Los Angeles Rams' 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56.
