Saturday's Full Gear pay-per-view could be a landmark moment in All Elite Wrestling history, as MJF will be vying to become AEW world champion for the first time when he faces Jon Moxley in the main event.

In addition to MJF potentially establishing himself as the face of the company, The Elite will make their return after more than two months away from AEW, and Saraya will wrestle her first match in nearly five years.

Almost every major title will be on the line at Full Gear and personal rivalries will be settled, putting it in line to be one of the best AEW events in recent memory.

Top Matches to Watch

Jon Moxley vs. MJF

MJF has had a few opportunities to become world champion during his time in AEW, but he has fallen short on each occasion.

Full Gear represents his best chance yet, though, and it seems highly likely the torch will be passed to him by Moxley on Saturday night.

After being absent from AEW programming for a few months, MJF made a surprise return at All Out in September, winning the Casino Ladder match to earn a world title shot at a time and place of his choosing.

The 26-year-old chose to challenge Moxley at Full Gear in the wake of Mox winning a tournament to become a three-time AEW world champion after CM Punk was stripped of the title.

While MJF has been a heel for the entirety of his AEW tenure, he has been showing babyface tendencies leading up to Saturdayr, which has led to speculation that the company may be planning to push him as its top protagonist.

It could also be another example of MJF working the fans and perpetrating a ruse only to remain a villain, but it adds another layer of intrigue to a highly anticipated contest.

The Elite vs. Death Triangle

The Elite defeated "Hangman" Adam Page and Dark Order at All Out in September to become the inaugural AEW world trios champions, but their reign was short-lived.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks had to vacate the titles after a reported backstage altercation between them and CM Punk following the pay-per-view, resulting in new champions being determined a few days later.

On the Sept. 7 episode of Dynamite, Death Triangle faced Best Friends for the AEW World Trios Championships, and Death Triangle prevailed.

PAC, Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo have successfully defended the titles on multiple occasions since then, beating Best Friends in a rematch, as well as Dark Order and the team of Top Flight and AR Fox.

On the go-home episode of Dynamite before Full Gear, Death Triangle called out The Elite for a match at the PPV, and while they didn't appear on the show to accept, the match was made official.

The Young Bucks and Lucha Bros. have had some classic matches in AEW, as have Omega and PAC, giving the trios title match plenty of history to draw from.

The Elite figure to receive a huge reaction at Full Gear, and it seems likely they will leave with the titles in tow as well.

Britt Baker vs. Saraya

Almost five years since she had to retire due to neck injuries, Saraya is set to make her in-ring return on Saturday against Britt Baker.

Saraya's WWE contract expired over the summer, and she signed with AEW shortly after, but it wasn't clear initially how she would be utilized.

After confronting Baker and eventually getting physical with her, it seemed the 30-year-old had received medical clearance to step back inside the squared circle and compete.

Saraya confirmed as much on Nov. 9, making her return match against Baker official for Full Gear and adding another hugely significant contest to the card.

During her time in WWE as Paige, she was one of the best and most popular women's wrestlers in the world, and the AEW fans' reactions to her suggest she is still a favorite.

Saraya will be facing another hugely popular wrestler in Baker at Full Gear in what may be one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the night.
