Cardinals Trade Rumors: Execs Don't Expect 'Drastic' Moves; ARI Seeking TE
The high-flying Arizona Cardinals reportedly aren't expected to make any "drastic" moves before next month's trade deadline as the defense continues to play at a high level.
However, the Cards are seeking help at tight end after starter Maxx Williams suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 17-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Arizona fears Williams' injury is season-ending, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It would be a harsh blow to the offense. Through five games, the Minnesota product has been a reliable target for Kyler Murray, catching 16 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If the 27-year-old is done for the year, the Cardinals don't have many options to replace him. Veterans Demetrius Harris and Darrell Daniels are on the roster, as is Ross Travis. However, those three haven't recorded a single catch.
Harris has seen the most action. After being used mainly as a special teamer, he played a season-high 52 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 5. The 30-year-old has appeared in 106 games, catching 79 passes for 799 yards and nine touchdowns.
Daniels, meanwhile, is on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The 26-year-old has appeared in 50 games, catching 12 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown.
Travis, who has 26 games of experience and is on the practice squad, has been active for only one game this season. He didn't record a target.
The Cardinals have just more than $2.3 million in cap space to work with, per Over the Cap.
The Cardinals might consider calling the Tampa Bay Buccaneers about O.J. Howard, who is in the last year of his contract and doesn't play as much as Rob Gronkowski or Cameron Brate.
Other potential targets might include Chicago Bears veteran Jimmy Graham, who is behind Cole Kmet on the depth chart, and the Atlanta Falcons' Hayden Hurst, who is the No. 2 tight end behind rookie Kyle Pitts.
