WWE News: John Laurinaitis and WWE Talk John Morrison's Contract
WWE.com, gave us another "exclusive" and this time it was with Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis.
During the interview, Laurinaitis was asked about his involvement with the Morrison/Miz match.
Laurinaitis explained his actions, saying:

"As the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager, ensuring the safety of the WWE superstars is my main priority. I dropped everything once I saw what happened and went out to make sure John was okay.
"
When asked about the Morrison's contract, Laurinaitis stated:
"Your contract was coming up in the next couple of weeks anyway. Judging by your win-loss record, I wasn't going to sign you anyway.
"
This interview is intriguing as it almost resembles the CM Punk situation. So, now we are left to wonder is this all work or did we see the final WWE match of JoMo's career?
Personally, I hope that Morrison is really done with the WWE. He could use a break from his current situation and get some time to allow his creativity to flow. If that creativity takes him to TNA, great. If not, I am sure he will find work with another promotion.
Having Morrison lose to The Miz was a better send off than getting squashed by Brodus Clay.
As I reported yesterday, Clay had tweeted and later retracted his tweet about how he will "destroy" Morrison at Raw.
One has to wonder if that is what led to Clay's debut being pushed back yet again and having The Miz step in and fight JoMo.
Well, I guess we shall see how this saga plays out. Maybe Morrison will even "sign" with SmackDown in the upcoming weeks.
