People may be asking, "How is Brent Burns becoming a Sharks fan favorite? He hasn't even played a game in teal yet."

While that may be true, Burns is still on his way to becoming a beloved Sharks player, and it's thanks to Twitter.

Last night Burns tweeted, "I'm testing this twitter out!! Rocking the bike tomorrow at 10 am out of Mikes Bikes los Gatos let's get a good ride up big climb! #comeon!!"

Yes, earlier today, Brent Burns invited any Sharks fans to go bike riding with him at a mountain. And according to him, there will be more rides with the fans.

He's already getting involved in the community despite not playing a game yet, and he's enjoying every minute.

According to Burns' Twitter, he's been loving San Jose so far. He's been doing a variety of things in the local area, from going to Earthquakes soccer games to riding the many bike paths to meeting up with the fans.

Burns is very light and humorous, joking with fans that he's in "ninja training," and has been the Sharks' most active tweeter.

Some of his fellow Sharks tweeters are teammates Logan Couture and Ryane Clowe, as well as reporters Randy Hahn and Brodie Brazil.

Despite the fans not having him seen him in action on the ice yet, he's already well on his way to becoming a beloved fan favorite.
