What to Watch For:
The Colts don't have a ton of juicy roster battles on the line. After Reggie Wayne, the pecking order for the Colts receiving corps is still cloudy between Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon and Anthony Gonzalez. The way they finish out the preseason will go a long way in determining who is 100 percent healthy and who is still shaking off the rust.
Colts fans should also keep an eye on first-round pick OL Anthony Costanzo. He is going to be a very important part of the team right off the bat and will be expected to give Peyton Manning the protection he needs to ensure the neck injury doesn't get any worse.
The 'Skins have the roster battles that you really need to watch for.
A week after Redskins QB Rex Grossman played extremely well against the first-team Pittsburgh Steelers defense, it's now John Beck that gets his shot to impress the Washington coaching staff.
Beck will be making his preseason debut after sitting out last week's win and sounds pretty confident despite the fact he has played in a grand total of five games in his four-year NFL career:
"I’m in it because I believe in me, and I believe that I have some things I can bring to the table, and I just want to be the best quarterback that I can be for this football team. I feel like this is a team going in the right direction, a team that has bought in to the philosophies and a team that believes we can achieve. It’s like a giant puzzle and I’m a piece of that puzzle; I just want to be everything I have to be so this puzzle can fit together.
"
Then there is the running back battle.
Right now, it's Tim Hightower that has the starting job, but Ryan Torian, Roy Helu and Kelland Williams or all in the mix and are a couple outstanding preseason games away from emerging as the best option. So far, it's been Helu who has impressed in camp, but Torian is the only back with experience in Mike Shanahan's offensive system.
Two incredibly important positions up for grabs in Washington.
Will Peyton Manning Play?
The Colts have already announced that their franchise QB Peyton Manning will not be playing as he continues to recover from offseason neck surgery. That means Curtis Painter will be the man to start off followed by Dan Orlovsky.
Prediction: Redskins 26 Colts 10
The Colts are set at almost every position on the field and are simply getting some reps in after a strange offseason.
The Redskins, on the other hand, have tons of important roster battles yet to be determined, and they only have three more practice games to make an impression. The passion and urgency will certainly favor Washington
In the preseason, that's going to go a long way towards winning a game the Colts couldn't care less about.
