WWE: CM Punk Sings Frank Sinatra to Las Vegas Audience Before His Shoot Promo

As everyone not living under a rock knows by now, CM Punk gave the wrestling world a hard kick in the ass last night by delivering what is being called the best promo in years, if not ever.

Punk shocked the crowd by using names like Hulk Hogan, Vince and Stephanie McMahon and John Laurentitis during the promo.

The truth laced tirade was cut short and the show cut off abruptly after Punk started to tell a story about how Vince McMahon was a hypocrite for the whole anti-bullying campaign, which may very well be true.

There was however another moment from last night's show that was not seen by the audience at home. During one of the commercial breaks CM Punk came out and addressed the Las Vegas crowd.

He asked the crowd if they liked Frank Sinatra, a legend in Vegas. The crowd gave him a decent pop, but Punk turned it around and said that he was going to sing a song about his hometown, Chicago.

Punk was wearing the Nexus shirt which confirms it was before the shoot aired because he had changed into a Stone Cold shirt at that point.

Punk has always stood out from the crowd since joining WWE. His recent tribute to Macho Man was great. He wore pink trunks and yellow boots, a near replica of an outfit Savage often wore in the 1980s.

Punk has also always been very opinionated on Twitter and in interviews. He has always said he was not afraid to speak his mind because Vince knows that Punk is a money maker for him and respects him.

This little show put on for the fans in attendance is the kind of thing that shows WWE events can be more fun than just the wrestling.

Punk's personality is one of a kind, and if he does indeed stay with WWE then he could go on to be the biggest thing in the company after the last day.
