Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
Scott Hartnell- On a 7-game point streak (including tonight), the Flyers enforcer has logged up 13 points with 2 hat tricks, along with 16 PIM.
Todd Bertuzzi- The former Canuck has a 6-game point streak, with 4 goals and 7 assists, and is looking to keep that up for a red-hot Anaheim team. Having Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry skating alongside him won't hurt of course.
J.P. Dumont- The Preds right winger has a 10-game point streak, piling up 15 points.
Peter Mueller- This unknown Coyotes center has quietly poured in 9 points in 7 games and is third among rookies with 11 goals on the season.
Sergei Samsonov- After being traded to the Hurricanes, the Russian winger has seemed to find the spark in his new environment and is more and more looking to be the player that he was when he was in Boston. The former Bruin has 6 points in the 4 games since he's traded. Pick him up if you have a roster spot available.
Marek Svatos- If you need goals, pick him up. The speedy Slovakian has 7 goals in his last 8 games. Svatos has 20 goals on the season, but only 2 assists, making him available.
Tomas Plekanec- The Hab has 12 points in his last 8 games, having a +7 rating during the stetch.
Alexander Semin- The Capitals left winger has 4 goals in his last 3, and might be a good pickup if you need a LW.
Mike Green- The Capitals defenceman has 12 points in his last 8 games, adding 6 to his 14 total goals on the season, which leads the NHL among defencemen.
Ty Conklin- Probably gone in most leagues by now, the American has a respectable 10-1-1 record, logging 2 shutouts along the way. Things should get interesting when Marc-Andre Fleury comes back.
Jose Theodore- The former Hab won 3 out of his 4 starts, taking the starting job over Peter Budaj.
Patrick Lalime- The former Senator has won 3 straight starts, while only allowing 4 goals and having a .978 save percentage.
Johan Holmqvist- If you're missing a goaltender, here's your man. The Bolts goalie has won 3 games in a row for Tampa Bay, earning 2 consecutive shutouts against the Crosby-less Penguins and the injury-prone Senators.
Vesa Toskala- This one is interesting. The Leaf netminder has won 3 straight games, but you never know with the Leafs...
